PagerDuty is seeking a Sr. Director, Corporate IT (End User Services, ITSM, Sys Eng, IT Security Ops) to join our diverse, customer-focused team! As a Sr. Director, Corporate IT , you will lead our System Engineering and end-user services teams, and help architect, build, and support PagerDuty’s growing SaaS/cloud-first information technology ecosystem – ensuring availability, reliability, and security for our employees. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing security, technology automation, and automation programs. You will bring experience helping your teams consistently ship value to employees. You go out of your way to make sure that you articulate that value within as well as outside of the team. We are looking for candidates located in the San Francisco Area ONLY at this time.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   Provide technology vision and leadership for deploying IT initiatives that improve collaboration, cost-effectiveness, compliance, and security.  Manage vendor relationships and look for opportunities to reduce costs through efficient internal operations, well-rationalized investment, and business enablement. Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs. Lead the IT strategy to leverage PagerDuty (PD@PD) to drive automation and scale across the enterprise. Partner closely with CISO organization to determine, deploy and administer critical corporate infrastructure security solutions. Manage ticket escalation, and ensure that service level requirements (SLAs) are achieved and that we are meeting defined metrics. Ensure our employees receive professional, efficient, and effective support. Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance. Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff, including system engineers and help desk support members. Have a customer zero mindset and adapt and deploy our own products. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 8+ years of experience working in IT operations, overseeing large information technology projects. 6+ years of people management experience leading multiple technical teams, distributed across multiple geographies. Proven experience in operating and managing security, automation technology, and automation programs. Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems. Experience with agile and scrum methodologies.   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in computer science (or a related field) or equivalent work experience. Experience working within high-growth, cloud-first (AWS), B2B SaaS companies. Excellent leadership, decision-making, and project management skills. Excellent communication and influencing skills.  Experience with Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf, Microsoft 365, Atlassian Cloud, Jira, Oomnitza, automation tools, AWS, and Zoom. The base salary range for this position is 185,000 - 283,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits. Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
