As the Competitive Intelligence Manager at Hotel Engine, you a ct as the SME on the competitive landscape of Corporate Lodging Technology. The world of Hotel Booking is changing, and as more organizations discover the need for software solutions to address these hugely important facets of their business, more software solutions will come to market. We need a leader in competitive analysis to continuously assess the competitive environment, provide insights and recommendations to our sales, marketing, product and leadership teams to ensure we maintain our status as an industry leader in this space.     In this role you will: Be the subject matter expert (SME) on the competitive landscape; key competitors’ product, pricing, business, sales, market trends and marketing strategies   Assess the competitive environment to provide insights and recommendations to sales, marketing, product management and senior leadership   Develop and deliver reports/communications that provide competitive insights and analysis of trends, issues and opportunities Develop competitive sales playbooks and work closely with Sales Enablement to support and train the sales org through execution Work alongside sales executives as SME in competitive deals Define and execute competitive win/loss reviews with sales, account teams,  prospects and customers to ensure a clear understanding of competitive dynamics Measure success by tracking win rates against top competitors     What we're looking for:   Bachelor’s degree and 5 + years’ experience in competitive analysis, product/content marketing, and/or enterprise sales   Demonstrated competitive mindset with ability to collaborate across departments to ensure company success   Expertise and desire to conduct competitive analysis and generate actionable recommendations   Strong writing skills - with the ability to create a wide range of materials to support sales   Strong analytical skills - with the ability to translate "soft results" into hard numbers that can be shared with leadership teams. Top notch collaborative skills, with the ability to work with many people at once and be open to  new ideas , suggestions, and "in it to win it" together mentality. Excellent verbal/ written communications and presentation skills Excellent project management skills   Cash compensation: The base salary range for this role is $123,000 - $143,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & may vary from the amount above.
