About the Role
Lambda is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our rapidly growing company. This role will report directly to the Corporate Controller and be responsible for the day to day accounting operations of our hardware business line for Lambda.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of month end close activities for inventory and COGS, including journal entries, account reconciliations and roll-forwards in accordance with reporting deadlines
Collaborate with other members of the accounting team to ensure proper recording of hardware revenue, sales tax, accounts receivable, accounts payable and deferred revenue for our hardware business line
Monitor inventory accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
Review and validate hardware commissions calculations on a monthly basis
Assist with the financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements to ensure accounting procedures and reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principles
Prepare and maintain documentation for accounting activities related to our hardware business line
Protect integrity of inventory by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
Identify process improvements and streamlining processes
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other applicable reporting standards, and federal and state regulations
You
Have 5+ years of work experience
Have a CPA
Have a solid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory and cost accounting
Have significant hands-on experience using a modern ERP system
Have strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Are detail oriented
Are able to prioritize and plan department work activities
Can work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Must be a team player who also works well independently
Nice to Have
Experience in the enterprise SaaS industry
CMA and SOX experience
Netsuite experience

Salary Range Information
Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $119,000-$208,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
