About The Role We’re looking for an experienced maintenance specialist who is tech-savvy and ready to help us take maintenance support for residents to the next level. You will collaborate with our product managers and operations team members as we automate and scale building maintenance using AI, drawing on your experience and using it in new ways to serve residents. This is a temporary contract position that has the potential to grow into a full-time role.  Key Responsibilities Review requests from residents about maintenance issues from HVAC to plumbing to painting needs Troubleshoot system responses to service requests Develop improved services request responses and processes for resolving maintenance problems Work with team members to implement improvements Develop step-by-step guides for maintenance processes Requirements 3+ years in general onsite maintenance in multifamily or single-family 3 years supervisory experience in institutional multifamily maintenance Computer savvy, with regular use of email, Zoom, and spreadsheets Solid grasp of general maintenance procedures and technologies, coupled with a keen ability to quickly acquire new skills Demonstrated capability to identify, troubleshoot, and prioritize maintenance issues effectively In-depth understanding of the financial aspects of maintenance operations, including cost estimation and resolution planning Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-starter with strong task prioritization skills Positive attitude Preferred Experience Trade school and/or military training or industry designation (CAMT or CAMT II) HVAC experience and EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal), if applicable for region/community Why Join Growth and impact. Job Compensation Range: The salary range for this role is $30.00 - $70.00 per hour, depending on experience.
