Position Overview:
The Senior Manager/Director of PMM for ESG will spearhead the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Diligent within the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Marketplace. This role shapes global strategy, digital influence, and championing the customer's voice, ensuring alignment between product, marketing, and the global commercial organization. The person in this role will bring curiosity, creativity, and an enthusiasm for commercial success to engage and energize the commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategy & Vision: Drive the product marketing strategy for Diligent's offerings and influence the product vision and roadmap.
Collaboration: Partner with product management and cross-functional teams for market research, enablement, positioning, and buyer persona initiatives.
Analyst relations: Partner with analyst relations team to forge valuable relationships with industry analysts to gain insights, drive product credibility and shape market perception.
Competitive Intelligence: Centralize and manage competitive data, including market moves and battle cards, to shape market perception and product positioning.
Sales Enablement: Support sales managers with product positioning tools, lead enablement sessions, and collaborate on GTM strategies.
Product Launch: Create comprehensive toolkits for marketing, sales, and customer success teams, ensuring seamless product releases and launches.
Feedback & Analysis: Implement a win/loss program, track performance of key initiatives, and engage with the Customer Success team to understand product strengths, weaknesses, and churn.
Partnerships: Assist the partners team in identifying partnership opportunities, support them in GTM strategies, activations, and asset creation.
Trend Analysis: Collaborate with the Solutions Engineering team to identify ESG market trends and opportunities for differentiation.
Market Insights: Develop a deep understanding of the evolving ESG and sustainability market, and the regulatory landscape, ensuring resonant storytelling and effective campaign planning.
Required Experience/Skills:
5+ years of B2B product marketing experience; technology or professional services sectors preferred.
Strong collaboration skills with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in SaaS-based solutions and product marketing best practices.
3+ years of marketing strategy experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
Effective in cross-functional collaboration and influence.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Direct experience working in ESG or sustainability related field.
Robust analytical skills and proficiency in market analysis.
Proven networker with intra-organizational relationship-building skills.
Experience in targeting multiple segments and campaign attribution.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
