Position Overview:
The Product Marketing Manager position is responsible for leading and owning our end to end go to market strategy, within a diverse global team. The Product Marketing Manager manages our global strategy, positioning and messaging of Diligent and our sister brands in the GRC Marketplace. The Product Marketing Manager shapes our portfolio strategy, emphasizes our digital influence and brings a voice to the customers of our organization by influencing marketing campaigns across a variety of channels both internally and externally.
This person will launch new solutions and serve as the bridge between product management, marketing, and the global commercial organization, ensuring that commercial team members are enabled and empowered to achieve our commercial goals. The person in this role will bring curiosity, creativity and an enthusiasm for commercial success to engage and energize the commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Create, implement and drive product marketing strategy for Diligent’s suite of product and service offerings.
Partner with product management to establish and manage user committees/steering committees.
Be the central point of contact for all competitive information including, tracking their market moves, creating battle cards, and developing competitive positioning and messaging to influence campaigns and sales enablement.
Work closely with the Product and tech teams to create the vision for all products and influence the product roadmap.
Partner with regional sales managers to influence how the products are positioned during the sales process and identify opportunities to introduce sales enablement tools.
Implement a win/loss analysis program for all brands and report out to the business monthly on the findings and recommendations.
With the Client Marketing leader, champion the end user in product reviews and UX discussions and provide product marketing guidance.
Create toolkits for marketing, sales and CS for all product releases & launches ensuring they are equipped to sell the solution. This include creating the messaging & positioning by user/buyer persona.
Function as a translator between what sales needs and what that means for product requirements. Conversely translate material coming from the product team into actionable communications for commercial teams

This includes creating the target segments, identification of triggers for action, as well as crafting messaging and positioning by user/buyer persona using Diligent’s Command of the Message framework.
Lead enablement sessions and energize the commercial team to sell our core and emerging GRC/ESG solutions.
Track and communicate competitive information including competitor market moves, creating battle cards, and developing competitive positioning and messaging to influence campaigns and sales enablement.
Work closely with the center of excellence and International BU marketing, product management, and tech teams to support creation of the vision for all products and influence the product roadmap.
Work with marketing stakeholder to track performance of key initiatives and report to the business on findings and recommendations
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to execute on go-to-market (GTM) strategies for our GRC platform of solutions to drive new opportunities, product growth and adoption.
Play a pivotal role in developing compelling positioning + messaging for our GRC platform.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, Enablement and other cross-functional teams to undertake market research, sales + marketing enablement, positioning and buyer persona initiatives.
Work with the Product Strategy team to monitor and evolve Galvanize's competitive, analyst and industry position to accelerate our product development and innovation.
Define success criteria and measure the impact of Product Marketing efforts.
Interpret + leverage data insights to validate GTM strategies, positioning + messaging, product growth and drive continual improvements.
Use customer, partner and market intelligence to deliver meaningful insights and identify new market opportunities -- serving as a key voice of the market/customer to our Product and Engineering teams.
Required Experience/Skills
5+ years of B2B product marketing experience in technology or professional services companies are a plus
Ability to build relationships internally and work with key stakeholders and leaders in product management, sales and customer success to define and execute on product marketing strategy
Positive, energetic attitude and initiative, with strong work ethic
Strong interpersonal and project management skills
Strategic yet able to execute
Good content writing and campaign management skills
You will have a strong understanding of SaaS-based solutions and product marketing best practices and have a passion for technology. Working closely with the Marketing, Product Management, Enablement, Sales and Customer Success teams, you are comfortable in a rapidly growing environment that demands a combination of product understanding, exceptional storytelling and positioning skills, and the ability to interface across multiple functions in the organization.
3+ years of experience in marketing strategy development and execution in a B2B SaaS environment.
2+ years of relevant experience within a product marketing or technical marketing role.
A proven track record of writing performance-driven product marketing plans that translate into measurable adoption results.
Experience working with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
