The Role
The Diligent HR team seeks a highly motivated and analytical individual who is eager to enhance their HR experience and impact a dynamic, growing global technology organization. This multifaceted role focuses on Total Rewards and improving operational processes while working on programs that truly impact our people and our business.
The Compensation Analyst assists in the implementation and administration of compensation programs such as salaries, short and long-term incentives, job evaluations, and salary surveys that support Diligent’s business strategy. The Compensation Analyst also collaborates with each of the business segments on the implementation of centralized, harmonized, and seamless compensation support for functional organizations that span across all business segments. This role will be expected to play a key part in M&A integration activities and support the organization as it continues to scale and grow.
The Compensation Analyst will have the opportunity to gain broad exposure to the various aspects of compensation consulting and to provide direct support to the design and implementation of several global core compensation programs. This also includes market data intelligence gathering and governance, as well as global compensation administration and compliance.
What You'll Do
Provide day to day client group support of compensation needs coordinating closely with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders
Actively participate in the successfully implementation and management of regular compensation activities including annual compensation planning cycle, promotion review periods, salary survey participation, etc.
Support the administration of global common compensation review process, including preparation of data and system, regular data audits, communication and training to HR business partners, and consolidation of data for reporting
Review and approve employment offers – consulting with Talent Acquisition, HR business partners and business leaders
Document duties in standard operating procedures and ensure internal controls are maintained
Conducting compensation benchmark assessments, actively seeking market intelligence and industry specific data to inform appropriate solutions
Evaluate, level and determine appropriate market value for new and existing jobs
Collaborate with HR business partners in the creation of consistent job families
Conduct ad hoc compensation analyses and projects
Supporting our EMEA shift.
What You'll Need
BA/BS degree or 3-5 years related experience in Compensation, Finance, Incentive Compensation, Sales Operations and/or Management Consulting
Experience supporting technology organization with CRM or SaaS business model preferred
Must have a good understanding of broad-based compensation programs (base/bonus/equity), pay for performance, benchmarking/market data, and job evaluation.
Strong understanding of compensation practices and trends, with emphasis on technology roles
Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations based on compensation principles and philosophy
Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences
Exceptional quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
Advanced Excel knowledge; Oracle experience a plus
Ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments/priorities
CCP certification is a plus
