Position Overview:

Diligent is seeking a proactive and vibrant Global Facilities Manager to join our Diligent team based in Washington, DC. Our Global Facilities Manager will ensure that our facilities operations run smoothly across all regions and work closely with business stakeholders and our employees to provide a superb working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Managing a global team of local office managers / receptionists, ensuring consistency of operations within the global real estate portfolio.
Engage in all aspects of lease management, real estate planning, lease negotiations, and building of new office space.
Coordinating with Site Leads, Human Resources, Business Technology, and Network Operations on daily office operations.
Administration of facilities systems, including hot-desk application (Office Space) and physical security (Brivo), among others.
Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders, procuring office supplies & amenities, and ensuring compliance with laws & regulations.
Management of our reception desks and general reception responsibilities.
Primary contact for our building management services and escalation point for all global office operations.
Engagement with office community initiatives, working closely with the local culture club and office leader for local office initiatives (team building events, networking events, holiday parties, etc.)
Order office supplies, snacks and beverages on a weekly basis, keeping track of spend and managing office expenses.
Scheduling routine inspections, emergency repairs, and organizing contractors including but not limited to electricians, plumbers, HVAC, kitchen appliances, water & coffee machines, among others.
Organizing maintenance and repair contractors:
Required Experience/Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
5+ years’ minimum of experience in a facilities management role.
Experience managing multiple offices and the ability to coordinate office moves strongly desired.
Work experience in hospitality and customer service highly preferred.
Experience supervising staff such as front desk and receptionist personnel preferred.
