Degreed is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This position will own the commission process and perform important FP&A tasks while working cross functionally with our international sales, marketing, and accounting teams. This person will have exposure and visibility into a growing SaaS startup. This candidate should be comfortable collecting and interpreting data and giving recommendations to management based on the analysis. The candidate should be proactive, detail oriented, committed, and passionate about being a part of a high-growth team. US Remote / Salt Lake City, UT (preferred) Day in the Life Own the commission process from verifying deal accuracy to payment of commissions Work with management to forecast and set budgets across the organization, including the semi-annual budgeting process and long range plan Perform variance analyses to ensure fiscal responsibility and accountability; identify trends; recommend actions for continual improvement Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team by providing data-driven recommendations for optimizing financial performance and competitiveness Assist in the preparation monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for managers, executive staff and the Board of Directors Perform various ad hoc financial analysis. Produce reports using information sourced through company systems, such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, and HiBob Follow your curiosity and perform reviews, analyses and inquiries to learn more about the business, and identify opportunities to allocate and reallocate resources to the greatest benefit. Who You Are 0-3 years SaaS FP&A or commissions experience Process and detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accurate results while minimizing errors Efficient in time management, meeting deadlines, and delivering results Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Organized, professional, and exhibit strong interpersonal skills Capable of quickly grasping and applying analytical concepts, particularly those commonly used in SaaS/Enterprise Software companies Able to work effectively in a virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations. Experience with Captivate, Salesforce, NetSuite, Adaptive or other commission/finance software is a plus. Compensation and Benefits at Degreed Degreed is passionate about pay transparency and we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $55,000 - $70,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. Work Environment & Physical Demands Degreed is a remote-first company, however our roles are open to in-office or hybrid if you live in a city with a physical office location. This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our US and International colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), email, and Slack.
