The Tax Manager will be primarily responsible for the global income tax provision, and managing the reporting and compliance for all federal, state, and international income tax matters. The Tax Manager will also assist with tax research, tax modeling, and management of tax audits.  Primary responsibilities: Income tax compliance: Manage the preparation and/or review of federal, state, and international income tax returns, including the use and management of 3rd party vendors where necessary.  Income tax accounting (US GAAP): Primarily responsible for the preparation and/or review of tax accounting for all federal, state, and international income taxes. This includes the quarterly and annual income tax provisions, annual transfer pricing study, tax basis of fixed and intangible assets, and the performance of related internal controls. Financial Statement disclosure: Primarily responsible for the preparation of the income tax footnote and other financial statement disclosures, including facilitating the process with technical accounting and disclosure team members.  Research and analysis: Assist with researching federal, state, and international income tax issues, including analyzing the impact of potential law changes on the company’s income tax positions. Assist with preparation of memos in support of tax positions. Tax audit support: Assist in responding to federal and state notices, audit requests/inquiries. Collaborate closely with the accounting and finance teams, as well as other departments within the Company where necessary, to ensure accurate financial reporting.  Mentor staff to develop and improve the effectiveness of the Company’s tax function.  Skills and experience required: Bachelor’s degree, in accounting and/or finance, Masters in Tax and/or CPA is required.  7+ years of US income tax experience in public accounting and/or a corporate environment required.  Experience with tax compliance software (e.g. Avalara, Onesource) preferred.  Strong computer skills, proficiency in Excel required.  Experience with Netsuite preferred.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyze and document complex tax issues. Compensation and Benefits The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.  Dataiku also offers comprehensive benefits, including stock options, medical, dental, and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, pre-tax commuter benefits, a 401k company match, paid vacations and sick leave, paid parental leave, employer paid disability coverage, and additional health and wellbeing perks and benefits.
