What You’ll Do:
The Immigration & Mobility Specialist is responsible for providing U.S. immigration, relocation and travel assistance to Archer Aviation and its global subsidiaries.
Develop case strategy with external counsel by assessing the viability of work authorization sponsorship, and resolve immigration-related issues as they arise;
Interfaces with internal customers and stakeholders for any needed information by the outside counsel to ensure timely filing of cases, responses to Request for Evidence (RFE) and proper documentation;
Monitors progress for all US immigration cases in conjunction with external vendor; ensuring that no case “falls through the cracks”;
Review applications prepared by the outside counsel to ensure accuracy of information for the Immigration Manager’s signature;
Coordinates recruitment process for US permanent resident applications, in conjunction with sponsoring manager, outsourced vendor and the talent acquisition team;
Ensure compliance with company immigration policy and procedures;
Resolution of vendor, employee issues or concerns related to relocation and travel program and or escalation as needed
Performs administrative tasks and supports any project work assigned by the Mobility Manager and provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers (internal & external)
What You Need:
Bachelor’s degree
3 to 5 years of experience working in an immigration law firm and/or in-house performing the duties described above
Must have expert knowledge of both nonimmigrant visas (H-1, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3, B-1) and immigrant visas (PERMs, EB-1s, I-140, I-485, I-765, I-131) and be able to contribute to the development of case strategy
Must be able to describe and discuss the requirements for each visa type to stakeholders
Must have an understanding of visa bulletin, priority dates, reciprocity rules
Must have knowledge and experience in maintaining Public Access File
Must be able to handle multiple projects
Open to learning new things
Agile in changing processes and procedure depending on need of the company
Has can-do attitude

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
