If the answer is yes, this is a terrific opportunity for a Regional Bi-Lingual (Spanish) HR Manager looking for a multi-site opportunity. This role will interface with a diverse population of employees, including senior leaders, managers, operations/technical experts as well as hourly employees. The successful candidate will also have experience successfully leading, coaching and developing a team of HR professionals.In this role, you will support Plug by staying connected to matters which impact the people and the culture of the organization. This role is a subject matter expert providing strategic guidance on all employee life cycle matters, including employee relations, performance, policy interpretation, compensation, compliance and much more. The successful candidate must have a strong generalist foundation, including knowledge of HR best practices and the legal environment, and possess skills in the areas of interpersonal communication, relationship building, project management, critical thinking, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will maintain a thorough understanding of business priorities and continue working to build trusted relationships with a diverse audience of internal stakeholders representing a wide variety of HR support needs. This individual must be self-motivated, able to handle multiple competing priorities at once, and willing to adapt within a fast-paced, growing organization.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesInterfaces with managers to build relationships, employee morale and increase both productivity and retention throughout PlugLeads team of HR professionals by providing direction, feedback and coaching to drive business objectives and develop HR talent.Facilitates support for designated departments by communicating with the Human Resources Centers of Excellence as well as Global Human Resources Business Partner to execute on operational excellenceDevelops recommendations and coordinates employee relations activities, including leading or assisting as needed, in investigations of alleged misconduct and submit findings and recommendations to HR leadershipPartners with leaders and employees on performance development and employee disciplinary mattersCollaborates and supports Global Talent Acquisition team with recruitment efforts for the Houston areaAssists in facilitating HR training to various levels of management to include company policies, EEO and Anti-Harassment training, leadership training, HR compliance, and employee engagementResponds to potential employee grievances and regulatory agencies as appropriate.Conducts exit and stay interviews, analyzes data, and makes recommendations to the HR leadership team for continuous improvementAdministers various HR policies and proceduresMaintains an ongoing knowledge of legislation impacting HR activities; identifies compliance gaps within HR function and recommends remedial actions as appropriateSupports the organization through participation in special HR projects that maintain a positive employer-employee relationship and maintain moraleCollaborates effectively with internal clients and staff across departmentsPromotes culture of employee engagement, a positive environment, and a great place to workRepresents Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions.Performs all other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate’s degree with minimum of 10 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist capacityBilingual (English and Spanish) requiredDemonstrated ability to successfully lead a team by establishing objectives and providing feedback and coachingExtensive experience with employee relations and investigations with focus on the facts as well as demonstrated superior judgment requiredExperience within a technology, engineering or manufacturing environment is highly preferredExperience working in an organization with multiple locations and a partially remote workforce is highly preferredExperience with Workday is desiredComputer and software systems skills as applicable to position, including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookDemonstrates the highest level of integrity and maintaining confidentialityProven track record of developing effective relationshipsStrong project management and process improvement abilitiesDynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levelsUncompromising dedication to qualityDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detailMust be driven and self-motivated with excellent follow-throughExempt employees are expected to work as many hours as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities.
