Job Requisition ID #23WD72096Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a dynamic sales executive with natural sales instincts coupled with commercial and technical skills to grow our North America Design & Manufacturing Data Platform team. Reporting to the Americas Data Platform Sales Leader you will help create demand and develop new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) business opportunities and improve sales campaigns across our North American sales organization. This is an enterprise sales role and requires someone who demonstrate success in leading a team of sales resources on large-scale sales engagements.ResponsibilitiesEngage target accounts and respective account teams with enterprise sales methodologiesConduct discovery activities and value assessments for Autodesk prospects and customersCreate compelling executive level presentations expressing a clear understanding of opportunities for business improvementCollect and measure important industry metrics to establish trends and benchmarkingAssistance in development of demonstration and presentation storyboardsParticipation in customer/prospect facing events supporting presentations and demonstrationsAssistance in demand generation activities such as webinars, seminars, and roadshowsPartner collaboratively with channel reseller partners to understand their business, creatively adopt programs to increase new revenue, lead the co-selling process to Autodesk customers, and expand partner relationshipsReach out and provide regular customer feedback to the product, industry and strategic marketing teams to help identify product strengths and areas of improvementDevelop a 5 quarter rolling pipeline to exceed assigned pipeline volume targetDeliver an accurate ongoing forecast of businessNegotiate deals and contracts at multiple levels within the targeted account, with primary focus/importance on "C" and enterprise-level negotiationsMinimum Qualifications5-7+ years enterprise sales experienceManage multiple opportunities and projectsExperience leading clients in discovery discussions and workshops to uncover business problems, corporate initiatives and desired outcomesDevelop and present executive- level business to C-level audiencesBackground and understanding of how enterprise software solutions address customer goalsKnowledge of cloud-enabled technologies, SaaS, AWSExperience with manufacturing product development processKnowledge of PLM solutions and PLM competitive landscapeGreat storyteller and effortlessly adapt your communication style depending on the audienceExperience manufacturing product development process landscapeMust understand how information, content, and documents flow across a manufacturing organization in the context of a business process#LI-POST#LI-KH1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $172,200 and $249,260. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
