Job Requisition ID #23WD72291Position OverviewFP&A Platform Services and Emerging Technologies (PSET) is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Finance Manager to support and enable the platform services team to meet its strategic and financial goals. As the enterprise consumption of IaaS infrastructure continues to evolve, they will be a key partner in driving business requirements for tools, policies, and processes used across Autodesk. The Cloud Infrastructure Finance Manager will be responsible for identifying, measuring, monitoring, and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs. The goal is to reduce costs, improve business agility, operational resilience and productivity while ensuring customer experience is a top priority. FP&A PSET is committed to ongoing skills development, process excellence, and work-life harmony for the team.ResponsibilitiesServe as primary business partner for cloud infrastructure Autodesk; collaborating with FP&A, engineering, accounting, and operations teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, track spending patterns, and recommend actionable insightsManage cloud cost governance, establish budget controls, maintain, and improve forecasting and processes through both increasing modeling accuracy and building tight business relationships with teams across Autodesk3rd Party financial management, including process improvement and acting as a key member of contract management and negotiation teamsAutodesk financial processes: Annual and Long-Range Planning, Forecast and Quarterly CloseEnsuring compliance with GAAP as defined by our Corporate Accounting team and any internal Autodesk audit requirementsStay up to date on industry trends and best practices in FinOps and technology cost optimizationSpecial projects such as platform consumption tools developmentMinimum QualificationsBA/BS degree, MBA a plus5+ years of related experience, business analysis background, or as proven disruptorFinOps certifications and comfort with statistics-based modeling a plusPrior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company a plusPrior experience in FinOps, Financial Analysis or cloud cost managementAdvanced Skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience with finance and reporting software (e.g., Anaplan, SAP, etc.) a plusExcellent quantitative and analytical skills, inquisitive mind, data savvy and experience with financial models and analysesOutstanding critical thinking / problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and strong team playerStrong business acumenAbility to adapt to a start-up like high growth business environmentStrong execution with ability to work in a fast pace and manage tight deadlinesGrowth mindset and ability to learn quicklyThe Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is an action oriented, pragmatic problem solver who addresses today’s issues with an eye towards the long termMust be comfortable quickly learning new concepts as the usage of infrastructure as a service rapidly maturesThey must also be comfortable using large data sets and business intelligence tools to give guidance to all levels of management#LI-ML2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $102,900 and $166,540. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
