Job Requisition ID #23WD72006Position OverviewThis role is located in Mexico.We're growing our Cloud Management team within Autodesk's Enterprise IT organization. This team defines, provisioning, and managing enterprise public clouds that help allow developer productivity. The team is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer - Azure who will have an important role in how we define and manage our public cloud.You will have a understanding of cloud computing and technology systems and experience designing and migrating applications to the cloud. You have a and good communication skills to share your thoughts and knowledge.This role reports to a Senior Manager, Cloud Management in Singapore.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, implementation, and management of Azure and AWS cloud solutions to meet our requirementsCollaborate with teams to understand project requirements and provide cloud expertiseEnsure the availability, performance, and security of Azure and AWS cloud servicesTroubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues as they ariseStay up-to-date with Azure and AWS cloud best practices and industry trendsHelp implement new Azure and AWS toolsParticipate in the planning disaster recovery and business continuity strategiesDefine Software and IT System architecture by evaluating and translating customer our needsWork with other architects, developers, and stakeholders to define public cloud strategiesCollaborate with IT security to define and incorporate cloud security policies in cloud provisioningEnsure the solution's architecture and design align with enterprise architectureMentor software development communityRespond to technical issuesMinimum Qualifications5+ years of professional experience architecting solutions on Microsoft Azure3+ years of experience in software engineering using Python, Java, Node.js, Go, Rest APIs, etcA background in systems-level thinking and design - combined with the ability to translate technical strategy and architectures into concrete, minimal viable products, with the right tradeoffs and phasingExperience with the architectural principles for cloud-based platforms, including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration and deliveryGood knowledge in Security by design principles, High Availability, and fault principlesExperience building complex solutions on Microsoft Azure PlatformExperience with containers and serverless architectureExcellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trendsExperience designing relational or non-relational databasesExperience with Azure Cloud Architecture and design principlesBachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant fieldMicrosoft Azure Solution Architect Certification is desirableAWS Solution Architect Professional Certification is desirableFamiliarity with DevOps practices and toolsKnowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD pipelinesExperience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, or similar toolExperience with AWS Cloud Architecture and design principles2+ years of professional experience building solutions on AWSAbout AutodeskAutodesk makes software for people who make things.
