You’ll be responsible for prioritising these opportunities and then helping the team break them down into deliverables that can be implemented, tested, and validated. You and your team will own some existing features of Revit Cloud Worksharing and will also share responsibility for operating our production environment. Your priorities for the team will need to balance work on new features, improvements to existing areas, and responsiveness to immediate customer problems.ResponsibilitiesEngage with a variety of customers, seeking their feedback on work in progress and integrating that feedback into the team’s planning to make sure your team creates features that are valuable and easy to use.Monitor many sources of information such as service performance analytics, user forum posts, and support requests to troubleshoot customer problems and detect trends before they affect customers.Collaborate with your team to break down larger, more strategic objectives into specific milestones and deliverables that account for both the needs of customers and the considerations around developing and testing the software.Work with a broad group of stakeholders across the company to jointly deliver on both company-wide and team level initiatives. You will keep stakeholders aligned around the planning and progress of larger efforts and also articulate and influence the tradeoffs that need to be made to be successful.Support continuous learning and improvement in development and operational processes, so that our customers’ experience might be ever more resilient and reliable.Contribute to the hands-on testing of the team’s work to verify that it’s really ready for release to customers.Communicate extensively about the work your team is doing: on any given day you could be preparing demo videos, authoring requirements for your team, engaging with a customer in our research community, drafting release notes, or following up with the support team about a customer issueDrive efficient and effective decision-making at a variety of levels to help your team move forward.Learn different aspects of the software development process and cloud service operations, seeking mentoring from experts so you can acquire new skills. You might learn from engineers about what goes into developing an API or operating a service. You might also learn how to conduct usability tests for your team’s new features, create a good survey, or do basic UI design. Manage competing priorities and make sure your team effectively balances the things that are most valuable for customers and for the long-term health of the product.Minimum QualificationsYou have a talent for systems-based thinking and seek opportunities to improve the sustainability and scalability of processes and operations. You make compelling cases for your ideas and opinions. In particular, you can communicate your opinions and technical knowledge to a diverse audience – including folks who don’t have the same level of expertise as you.You are decisive, but you also have a track record of balancing decision speed with consulting with other experts and gathering data. You are able to develop a “big picture” of how different pieces of technology come together to create the overall Revit Cloud Worksharing service.
