Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement robust BI solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the company. You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect data models, and create a semantic layer to facilitate data analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying up to date with emerging BI technologies and trends, ensuring our BI infrastructure remains efficient. Join us in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making within our organization.ResponsibilitiesBI Solution Architecture: Good experience in the design and architecture of comprehensive BI solutions tailored to the organization's needs, utilizing technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Sigma, Alteryx, MachEye, Sales Cloud Einstein, or other relevant toolsData Model Design: Develop and maintain efficient data models that support the organization's analytical requirements. Ensure data models are scalable, performant, and flexible to accommodate changing business needsSemantic Layer Development: Create and maintain a semantic layer that abstracts the underlying data complexity, making it easier for business users to access and analyze data without needing in-depth technical knowledgeCross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, data analysts, and other teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutionsBI Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices for BI development, data visualization, and report design to ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability of BI assetsTechnology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate and recommend emerging BI technologies and tools to enhance the organization's BI capabilities and stay ahead of industry trendsPerformance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or inefficiencies in data processing and reportingDocumentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI architectures, data models, and semantic layers for knowledge sharing and future referenceTraining and Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to BI developers and analysts, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the BI teamSecurity and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, Data Governance) in BI solutions and data handling processesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldProven experience (typically 8+ years) in BI solution architecture, data modeling, and semantic layer developmentProficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Sigma, Alteryx, MachEye, and similar technologiesStrong understanding of data warehousing concepts, Microsoft Fabric, ETL processes, and database systemsExcellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset for long-term BI planningExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCPRelevant certifications in BI and data management are advantageous#LI-AK1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
