Job Requisition ID #23WD73217Position OverviewWe are looking for a Trusted finance business partner to join Autodesk’s Worldwide Sales Finance team as the co-pilot who helps steer Autodesk towards an effective and efficient go-to-market outreach. This position reports directly to Finance Director of APAC & Japan Territory Sales and is the primary business partner to the Japan Sales VP and the sales team. The candidate must demonstrate independence, excellence and integrity in decision making and business judgment.  A strong knowledge of information systems, financial planning, accounting, strategic planning, risk assessment and business development is required, preferably in a software company. The right candidate for this role will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, financial aptitude, excellent business intuition, and the capability to work at multiple levels, including high-level strategy and day-to-day financial details. This finance business partner will have frequent interactions and collaborate with the local sales teams, cross-functional deal teams and finance teams and enable optimal informed business decisions through strong, effective analysis and key business insights.ResponsibilitiesPartnering directly with Japan Sales VP as a member of line management staffManaging Annual Business planning process, allocating the targets, and creating quotas for the Japan territory sales RepsDriving Weekly forecast process for Japan territory sales team across all segmentsAnalyzing business performance and trends to proactively provide business insights and advice to sales leadersCo-leading with Sales VP to drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Quarterly Business Planning (QBPs), focusing on key business performance metrics and improvement plansProviding deal support in partnership with Deal Operations to develop agreements and agreement proposalsAssisting process improvement for Japan team’s pipeline management through salesforce.comLeading the cross-functional teams to close fiscal quartersManaging the OPEX budget (headcount and variable) for the Japan territory sales teamBuild relationships with broader groups such as Legal, Client services, Revenue Accounting, Tax, etc. to support the Sales TeamsPlaying the key role for compliance and fiduciary#LI-AV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
