This offering is designed to help position Autodesk as the trusted partner in design and make education, help prepare students for jobs of the future, and to shape the future of the industries we serve across Product Design and Manufacturing; Architecture, Engineering and Construction; and Media and Entertainment.Position OverviewAutodesk Education Marketing is looking for a strategic audience-first marketing leader to differentiate Autodesk in the marketplace among education audiences and articulate Education as a meaningful impact pillar for the Autodesk brand. This is an important role on the Education Marketing leadership team responsible for developing a clear vision, compelling value propositions, messaging, relevant points of view, and experience positioning to move our brand forward. The audience marketing approach will incorporate the outcomes of our customers and apply to their entire journey from discover through to advocacy.Your deep audience marketing expertise, experience with education, and appreciation for design and make platforms for industries like manufacturing and construction will inform how you support full lifecycle experiences that result in awareness and customer success.You will work with the Education Strategy team and your Education Marketing peers across Content and Campaigns, Field Marketing, and Digital to develop full lifecycle marketing strategies that attract, engage, and shift share among educators in mechanical engineering and construction. You have experience in marketing to a range of audiences from executives to end users and is experienced at integrating a brand narrative with relevant, customer-focused messaging and offers in consideration of our needs and channels.You will be a promoter for Autodesk Education Experiences to influence World Wide Marketing (WWM) partners and use manufacturing and construction insights for education audience marketing purposes. As a marketer, you will ensure messaging testing and feedback cycles with customers are integrated in our marketing strategies. You will manage a team of audience marketers and provide clear guidance on priorities, business understanding, and team responsibilities.You will report to our Senior Director, Education MarketingResponsibilitiesLead Education brand narrative, communications, and audience messaging; ensure integration at the corporate level and that our audience marketing is reflective of the Autodesk brand and Design and Make Platform value propositionHire and develop team skills and support cross-functional audience marketing capabilitiesGuide the audience journey strategy based on audience needs, outcomes, and experiences to result in awareness, consideration, and preference for Autodesk over the competitionPrioritize education audiences across executives, decision-makers, influencers, and end users to inform a clear audience messaging playbook with specific adaptation of the framework to multi-channel marketing requirementsManage testing, feedback and validation of our audience messaging and approaches to marketing with customersLead and influence Education keynotes, executive presentations, thought leadership content, and strategic partnership messagingDevelop, influence, and integrate the Autodesk Education Experiences point of view across company-wide and industry relevant themes and experience assetsEnsure internal and partner enablement on the Autodesk Education Experiences messaging and use casesMinimum Qualifications10+ years of experience in audience-first marketing and team management with focus on messaging and content development to reach and engage audiences across executives, influencers and end usersStorytell ability to translate product feature "speak" into customer benefits and outcomes that resonate with target audiencesExperience working within multicultural team environment and ability to think across geographical boundariesAble to travel ~1x/Qtr, including internationallyLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $139,300 and $225,390. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
