Job Requisition ID #23WD72226Autodesk is looking for a Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of our marketing strategy for Design & Manufacturing audiences. You will be a key leader in helping Autodesk’s marketing organization transition to an audience-centric go-to-market by establishing the audience marketing function and guiding a team of experienced marketers. Your deep industry and audience expertise, combined with strategic vision, will inform how you define full-lifecycle customer experiences that drive business growth.The ideal candidate is skilled at building compelling value propositions, messaging, and content that differentiates Autodesk in the marketplace. You will need to successfully influence stakeholders and advance manufacturing audience insights across the organization. Your people leadership and development skills will expand your team’s skillsets and and establish your team as the go-to leads for manufacturing audiences.Your work will be critical in driving expansion of Autodesk’s manufacturing business now and in the future. You will take a lead role in developing the marketing strategy and plan for the future of our portfolio – the Fusion industry cloud – partnering closely with Fusion stakeholders across the organization.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of audience marketing managers to define and drive execution against the integrated marketing plan to drive audience awareness, preference, and adoption for our solutions globally.Own the marketing strategy and plan for the Fusion industry cloud, crafting compelling narratives that position Autodesk as a category leader.Manage and allocate budgets for audience marketing initiatives and be accountable for ROMI.Partner with industry strategy, product development, sales, and other worldwide marketing teams to align on industry and audience marketing plans.Collaborate with other audience marketing leaders on joint marketing initiatives that establish audience-centric processes, support change management, and talent development.Minimum Qualifications You have experience managing and up-skilling a diverse, geographically distributed marketing team.You have a wealth of understanding for all aspects of marketing, from strategy through execution to create a robust customer experience.You are a storyteller who translates feature speak into customer benefits and outcomes that resonate with employees, customers, partners, analysts, and media.You have influenced, unified and secured support from senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders in a large, matrixed organization.You demonstrate initiative, accountability, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects.You are data driven marketer who uses market intelligence and analytics to measure and optimize marketing efforts and programs.You are willing and able to travel 25%, including internationally.10+ years of experience in a marketing role, with management experience required.MBA degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Business Administration or a relevant Marketing field.The Ideal CandidateYou’re a marketing innovator. You understand modern marketing methods and use of analytics and automation to target prospects and have the innate ability to nurture your prospects through the buyers’ journey.You’re both strategic and tactical. You provide input to the industry GTM strategy to ensure marketing is relevant and leveraged. You strategically add value to the marketing and sales process, as well as roll up your sleeves to execute on tactical programs and plans to get things done.You have a reputation for execution and results. Not only can you create, propose and sell your program ideas, you are known for driving alignment with strategy, marketing operations and sales and executing upon programs, assets and agreed deliverables.You’re highly collaborative.
