Reporting to our Software Development Manager, you'll join a highly professional scrum team that develops data management services for Autodesk's flagship product Fusion 360. With over one million users globally, Autodesk Fusion 360 is a next-generation CAD application with an ecosystem of Client & Server components, next-generation Web client, SDK and a variety of Cloud Services that interacts with world leading CAD Products such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit.ResponsibilitiesContribute to foundational micro-services development for Fusion 360 Data ManagementWrite high-quality, clean, and efficient code following our development standardsProactively evaluate and address issues related to performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility of the systemsContribute to writing and maintaining test automationCollaborate with our Product Owner, Scrum Master, and extended team members and translate business requirements into high-quality micro-services to increase customer satisfactionResearch and prototype novel ideas, technologies, and patterns relating to your tasksMinimum QualificationsUniversity degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar, or equivalent experience will be considered5+ years of hands-on experience developing cloud services and applicationsAdvanced with Java programming, object-oriented design principles, Spring and JerseyExperience building large-scale micro-services and sound understanding of Caching (preferably Redis), Distributed Tracing, Eventing (Preferably Kinesis) and Scaling techniquesExperience developing RESTful web services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JerseyDatabase technology: relational and NoSQL database technologies, (e.g. MySQL, DynamoDB)Hands-on experience with unit and automation testing tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, JMeter etc.Working knowledge of UML, Software Design Patterns, Distributed Systems, Resiliency, and SecurityStrong troubleshooting skills by performing Stack trace Analysis, Thread and Memory profiling, Remote debuggingExperience with Build and CI/CD tools like Ant, Gradle, Docker, JenkinsExperience with Git or equivalent version control systemAdaptable and willingness to work with colleagues across different time zonesPreferred QualificationsExperience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) stack - ECS, Lambda, Batch, Step Function, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, SQS, etc.Familiarity with Python and GroovyFamiliarity with JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React.js, ReduxExperience with Agile development practicesExperience with Search technologies like Lucene and ElasticsearchExperience working with Jira and WikiLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
