Job Requisition ID #23WD72321Position Overview: The Director of ACS Sales will lead an existing sales organization of approximately 60 field sales representatives and 13 managers in 10 Districts spread across 3 Regions. You will be responsible for attaining the objectives set each year set in the Strategic Sales Plan including quota attainment. This team will be responsible for selling the full portfolio of our ACS products and effectively collaborating with the Autodesk Worldwide Sales and channel partners to further grow revenue. Success in this role is measured in terms of team collaboration, billings attainment, new customer growth, and account planning. Effective hiring and team development in this organization with the goal to drive business results and meet/exceed financial and business objectives. The incumbent possesses strong sales management skills, significant sales management experience, and business skills necessary for driving an overall winning strategy with this team.ResponsibilitiesLead a sales organization of approximately 70 employees and grow the region according to business planCollaborates with Channel, Technical Solutions Executives (TSE) and Customer Success Managers (CSM) to implement strategies to improve adoption, expansion and ACV growthAccelerate the growth of ACV and market share capture for the ACS product portfolioCollaboratively influence the global strategy on product direction and go-to-market in close cooperation with Marketing and Product Management leadershipEnsure and drive high employee engagement and build a global talent pool for sales and other groups within Autodesk, while ensuring diversity and inclusionHire, lead, coach, develop and mentor sales talentManage and improve sales processes by optimizing the use of data and other tools to provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecastsMinimum QualificationsSolid sales and/or business development experience with a demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals. Deep sales management experienceDemonstrated success in working with Marketing, Product, Customer Success and other key internal stakeholders to achieve sales goalsSuperior communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to build relationships at multiple levels and to work cross-organizationally towards solutionsStrong influencing skills and ability to deliver results in a global and matrixed organizationDemonstrated ability to grasp the technical aspects of the business (i.e. fully understanding the products and services in order to achieve and maximize sales results)Proven team leadership skills, managing large teams through a management layer with abilities including a creative and proactive approach to conflict resolution and problem solving, mentoring, coaching, recognition and performance managementAble to adapt and evolve with changing priorities and business initiativesA highly motivated, results-oriented, self-starter with strong analytical skillsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience TravelPosition will require significant travel approaching 1/3 of the timeLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $240,300 and $347,820. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
