Job Requisition ID #23WD72920Position OverviewAs Autodesk's Senior Director of Web Experience, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's digital strategy and transforming the customer experience on Autodesk.com. You will be responsible for setting the vision and direction for our online platform. This position carries the responsibility of leading the digital capabilities that drive Autodesk's growth, open new avenues of opportunity, and cement Autodesk's position as an industry leader. Your mission will be to develop and execute a customer-centric strategy that propels Autodesk to the forefront of digital experiences, powered by ADSK.com.ResponsibilitiesThe role will report into Autodesk’s Vice President, Digital and E-Commerce leader and will be responsible for:Strategic Leadership and Organization Design: Provide visionary leadership in designing and building an organization to achieve business initiatives, growth strategies, and project planning that catalyze the digital transformation of all customer-facing services and offerings. You will lead the development of a long-term web strategy.User-Centric Design and Content Strategy: Champion user-centered design principles to ensure that our websites are intuitive, visually appealing, and easy to navigate, improving user satisfaction and engagement from customer and partner audiences with relevant high-quality content.Data-Driven Leadership: Utilize web analytics and key performance indicators to continually evaluate the effectiveness of web experiences and make data-driven decisions for optimization.Conversion Rate Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to increase conversion rates, improve lead generation, and drive revenue through the website.Global Cross-Group Collaboration: Work closely with internal marketing teams and other key global stakeholders to optimize the customer experience on ADSK.com, ensuring a seamless end-to-end customer journey of all customer business segmentsLeadership and Talent Development: Build the talent, skills, and capabilities needed to drive digital transformation and growth. Provide leadership, motivation, and hands-on guidance to deliver digital solutions.Growth Opportunities: Direct the development and evolution of Autodesk's key growth opportunities, including alternate and third-party platforms (e.g., in-product, third-party websites, app stores, etc.) and contribute to developing new customersCompliance and Security: Ensure web properties comply with relevant regulations, privacy laws, and security standards, safeguarding user data and company reputation.Minimum QualificationsThe successful candidate for the Senior Director, Web Experience role will possess the following key experiences and characteristics:Strategic Vision: Proven ability to build and generate digital strategies, plans, and results with cross-functional alignment. You should have a track record of developing and executing digital strategies globally that drive business growth.Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage with C-level stakeholders. You should be adept at formulating and articulating strategies, presenting ideas clearly, and championing innovative thinking through business analysis, supported by data.Leadership and Collaboration: Strong ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment. You must be able to lead, inspire, and collaborate with diverse teams to achieve common goals.Web Development Expertise: Demonstrated success in leading website development roadmaps and managing development teams to achieve site enhancements, platform updates, and optimal user experiences for a global brand. You should have a deep understanding of web development and user experience design.Business Acumen: At least 12 years of professional experience managing the commercial outcome of a major business with profit and loss (P&L) responsibility. You must have strong business acumen and a track record of delivering financial results.Influential Leadership: Persuasiveness and the ability to influence executive partners, key stakeholders, and employees. You should be skilled at building relationships and driving change within the organization.Preferred QualificationsB2B Digital/E-Commerce Experience: Experience leading a B2B digital/e-commerce business, ideally with some background in software. You should have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the B2B, B2B2C, and B2C digital space.Consumer Engagement: A proven track record of delivering creative, integrated consumer engagement programs. You should be skilled in creating and executing strategies to engage and retain consumers.Product-Channel Integration: Experience integrating online channel growth strategies with product roadmaps to maximize revenue, conversion, and retention. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $204,500 and $330,880. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
