UI UX Designer (NMS)Infinera NM team are looking for a dynamic UI/UX designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various enterprise application part of NMS suite. As a UX/UI designer you will ensure that all elements of the user experience in our NM Products are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design.The successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.At Infinera you will work in a cross-functional, agile team developing NMS products. You will work in an open environment in close collaboration with the rest of the R&D organization. Our work includes everything from product concept to finished product - a process that spans over the entire development chain. The team takes full responsibility that a new feature is delivered on time with the right quality using state of the art continuous integration pipelines. We strive for fully automated test suites both on unit, function, and system level.UI UX Designer Responsibilities:Investigating user experience design requirements for our NMS products suite.Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the applications.Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.Collaborating with the PLM and development team, and other cross functional teams to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the NMS users.Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior.Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.UI UX Designer Requirements:A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), Angular, ReactJS frameworks, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, (or similar set of professional tools).A team player but can work independently too.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.We, at Infinera offer:A high-paced but open-minded design and development of new products.Tight cooperation with other disciplinesShort product development cycles, Real results of your work, you will see how it affects our products and sales.Possibilities of development and internal advancementSocial and wellness activities and in house sports activities including a gymA friendly and helpful atmosphereHighly competent and motivated colleagues Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
