Our industry-leading, trendsetting edge-to-core solutions provide the foundation for many of the world’s largest and most demanding networks that generate billions in service revenue for our customers.Job DescriptionPerform daily inspections of Facilities systems: HVAC, Building Management System, Bulk Gas/Chemical/Water and electrical distribution systems such as Liquid Hydrogen and Nitrogen, Breathing air, Caustic/Acid chemicals, Toxic Gas, De-Ionized Water, Process Cooling Water, Chilled Water, Hot Water, Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Chillers, power control panels, Emergency power generator, scrubber and general exhausts, Waste treatment system and storage systems, waste storage areas, Toxic Gas monitor, Fire alarm control panel, hazmat and haz-waste storage areas.Operate, maintain, repair & troubleshoot independently or via service provider support on a wide variety of facilities equipment such as AWN/HF/Solvent lift stations, mechanical and electrical pumps, motors, valves, sensors, transmitters, heat exchanger, strainers, HVAC prefilters and HEPA filters, etc.Oversee, coordinate, schedule, communicate and control planned and unplanned maintenance/repair activities to minimize fab down time, site service interruptions and prevent potential EH&S mishaps.Review field service reports and follow up service provider repair recommendations.Track, monitor, document and maintain records of equipment inspections, maintenance, repairs, calibration and ERT supply inventory per CUPA, OSHA and ISO requirements.Monitor, control and remediate Fab Environment Temperatures, Relative Humidity, TOC, DI Resistivity, pH, TOC for out-of-specification condition in 24/7 support of manufacturing.Manage, control, coordinate and schedule chemical waste removals including and HF pump outs; Order acid and caustic chemicals as needed to sustain the AWN and Solvent/HF waste storage operations.Support Capex projects and related activities: Cleanroom construction, office/Lab renovations, new tool installations, equipment retrofit, upgrade and/or replacement during pre-planning, planning, coordination, monitoring, control, execution, and project close out phases.Operate forklift to receive and move materials and hand tools to support PIC Facilities, SH&R, and EPI.Support Quality & EHS programs: QMS, Injury & Illness Prevention Program, Contractor Safety Program, Site Prevent Program, Continuous Improvement activity, Best Management Practices, ISO 9001, and 14001.ERT member required – support in identifying, reporting, communicating, controlling, preventing, responding, and remediating EH&S hazards during and/or off-hours and off-shift emergency calls.Experience and Qualifications3-5 years of experience working in the semiconductor facility and EH&S regulated environment.Knowledge and experience in operations of Building Management System, HVAC, Gas and chemical distribution systems, cleanroom protocols and waste treatment and storage systems.Work-related experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical and controls systems.AS degree in electronics is a plus.Knowledge of pumps, motors, motor controls, relays, transducers, valves, solenoids, filters.Skilled in using hand and shop tools, measuring instrument such as IR scanner, VOM meter, anemometer, particle counters.Work requires kneeling, crouching, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling and climbing stairs and ladders and lifting up to 30 pounds.Demonstrated experience with supplier and contractor supervision.Able to respond to facility equipment and/or emergency issues after hours and weekends/holidays.Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, SPC software.Complete 40 Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operator (HAZWOPER), D.O.T, Forklift, ERT and other on the job Training.A valid driver license and light travelling is required.#LI-SR2Infinera is an equal opportunity employer.
