Project Manager – Terrestrial Optical Network Deployment

Role: Project Manager – Terrestrial Optical Network DeploymentLocation: Poland, Customer Facilities & Home Office Hybrid Your Key Responsibilities Would Include:Development and implementation of a project plan for EF&I/Professional Service, maintain the Customer Action Register and the customer documentation package.Execution of multiple projects, on-time, on budget, following industry practicesValidate site surveys, Nodal/Link acceptance documents & work with Systems design engineersManage customer expectations on implementations, interface with customers remotely and in person, manage support partners and implement best install practices and Quality Assurance standards.Create, maintain and communicate risk assessments, action registers, issues logs, daily reports, communications plan, financial records, project tracker and internal statistical reports.Host conference calls, present at customer meetings and create presentations.Manage deployment teams in the field, both technically and with a hands‐on approach – Enhance partner skills and work with Infinera partners to reduce costs and improve productivity and efficiencyReport to Service Delivery ManagerSupport with RFP responses & customer quotesBusiness acumenExperience & Essentials Polish and English (Written, oral) essential.Business/Budget/Financial knowledge - SAP experience desirableStrong business acumen in project planning and management, methodical thinkingMicrosoft Project proficient – Plan creation, development, and controlDeployment experience - To include hands-on installation or commissioningStrong verbal, written, and organizational skills - Reporting to VP or CEO levelSite Infrastructure knowledgeQuality standards and AuditsData Center connectivity knowledgeBeing a team member is paramountDesirable SkillsPMP certificationSharePoint 365Prince 2 practitioner certification (must be current)DWDM/SDH in-depth knowledge Agile practitioner5+ years of project management experience in SDH/DWDM/Metro networksEducated to HND/BTEC levelInfinera is an equal opportunity employer.
