Sr Director Test Engineering

CA Pay Range (Annual):$206,500.00 - $383,500.00Non-CA Pay Range (Annual):-At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for equity grants, discretionary bonuses, or commission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company’s incentive plans, the Company’s financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.Infinera also offers paid leave, medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, and disability insurance and toeligible employees.As Senior Director of Operational Test Development, you will be responsible to lead a global team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy test strategies and test solutions for Infinera’s products, including Optical communication equipment, optical subsystem, management modules and electro-mechanical chassis.  Test solutions include: the test plan; software realization of the test plan; SQL data database storage solution; real time spec checking; and hardware design and assembly to fully execute testing solutions in a high-volume manufacturing environment.  You will work closely with cross functional teams to define requirements and design solutions from concept to NPI to volume production. Education & Experience Necessary For Success:Advanced degree in engineering or physical sciences requiredExperience in leading and motivating technical team members to deliver solutions on timeAbility to communicate and collaborate with cross functional teamsExperience working with design teams and contract manufactures around the worldTechnical expertise in telecommunication systems and optical systemsAbility to solve complex engineering problems and create solutionsStrong project management skills and experience w/ modern project management toolsKnowledge with database structures and Structured Query Language (SQL)Experience with .NET frameworkKnowledgeable in Statistical Process Control (SPC) in a testing environmentInfinera is an equal opportunity employer.
