Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About the Role:As a Program Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the engineering teams whose mission is to develop streamlined software solutions in vulnerability and risk management, such as Falcon Host Management and Falcon Discover, to ensure the continuous evolution of our world-class Falcon product. Your primary focus will entail driving the scheduling, scoping, and execution of projects for the group, including working directly with Engineering Developers, Product Managers, and Dev Managers to ensure timely delivery against the roadmap. You’ll work closely across multiple disciplines (UX, QA, Cloud, Sensor, Content) to collaborate and ensure dependencies are well known and critical issues are identified and driven to resolution.Required In lieu of a cover letter:Tell us what a day in your project management life looks like, highlighting what would make you a valuable asset to the CrowdStrike Program Management team. Use an intro paragraph to provide a brief summary of the problem the project was looking to solve, and no more than 10 bullet points of &Actions Taken by you specifically that led to the projects successful outcome.What You’ll Do:Partnering and direct, close facilitation with teams at all levels: in the weeds withdevelopers on projects to summations at the executive levelDemonstrates the ability to discuss tasks with employees in a manner which gives guidance and best practices, but does not dictate implementationDemonstrates the ability to learn and communicate technical context and align itwith business objectives to help drive project deliverables, resources, and timelinesCreates and drives the project schedule, working with dev management taskassignments, and managing schedule progress; from large phases through todetailed tasks, including understanding and managing dependenciesCollaborates with staff and management of multiple worldwide business units(including subject matter experts, design teams, and technology teams) to clearlyidentify, explain, and communicate their project involvement, project goals,expectations, and tasksTracks the status of project activities and ensures that schedules and priorities are being metEnsures critical issues are identified, tracked through resolution, and escalated ifnecessaryManages daily/weekly project communication and status reportingLeads Scrum meetings and creates and follows up on meeting minutes/action itemsFlexibly working across time zones to help coordinate and follow up on workWillingness to travel both locally and internationally a couple of times per quarterProvides mentorship to the team in a highly collaborative and empatheticenvironmentWhat You’ll Need:Must be proficient in the use of Jira software (query/ticket creation, board creation and facilitation)7+ years of experience working in a program/project management capacity forsoftware developmentExperience with/exposure to large scale platform (cloud technologies) products and similar complex inter-dependent technologiesSeasoned team coach that manages and alleviates (instead of running from)persistent obstaclesExperience with Project Life Cycle, Systems Development Lifecycle and ProjectManagement Methodologies, specifically Agile/Scrum.
