Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About the Role:CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced US Payroll Tax Analyst to join our Payroll team. The successful candidate will assist the payroll team with all matters US payroll tax related. This role also has the potential to expand to other countries outside of the US.What You'll Do:Oversee the daily, periodic, monthly, and quarterly payroll tax setups of US employees to ensure local and state taxes are set up correctly.Assist with daily, periodic, monthly, and quarterly payroll tax validations.Help with year-end payroll tax validations and activities including W2 reconciliations.Manage monthly audit of all stock transactions.Maintain and validate SUI tax rates and set up online accounts as needed.Coordinate with HR to ensure address and location changes are done timely and new hires have the correct tax set up at the state and local level.Assist with WA Worker's Comp and Seattle Payroll Expense tax filing.Provide support to payroll tax manager for quarterly stock release advanced tax deposits.Respond to payroll tax inquiries from employees and management.Work with ADP to resolve tax notices received at the federal, state, and local levels.Track and monitor tax credits and refunds, including following up with applicable federal, state, or local agencies.Run ad hoc internal reports for other groups to use for various tax filings (for example, NV MBT).What You'll Need:Bachelor's Degree.3-5 years of US Payroll Tax experience at a mid-size/large company active in all US states.Ability to multi-task while at the same time staying organized and on top of deadlines.Intermediate skills in Excel (Vlookups and Pivot Tables a must).Use Outlook to respond to emails, schedule meetings, and set notifications.Basic understanding of how US state taxation works (FICA taxes, state unemployment insurance, multi-state taxation, etc.) as well as general knowledge of where different states are in the US.Familiarity with US taxation of stocks (RSU, PSU, ESPP, etc.).Experience calling government agencies to ask questions about notices and ability to research these notices to ensure correct action is taken to resolve any underlying issues.Ability to manage own projects and tasks while providing updates as needed without much supervision.Experience with ADP Workforce Now or ADP GlobalView a plus but not required.Experience with payroll migration projects a plus but not required.Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm a plus but not required.Shift Time: 5 PM IST to 2 AM IST#LI-SM1#LI-SK1Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike:Remote-first cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awards with option to participate in ESPP in eligible countriesCompetitive vacation and flexible working arrangementsPhysical and mental wellness programs Paid parental leave, including adoption A variety of professional development and mentorship opportunitiesAccess to CrowdStrike University, LinkedIn Learning and JhannaOffices with stocked kitchens when you need to fuel innovation and collaborationBirthday time-off in your local countryWork with people who are passionate in our mission and Great Place to Work certified across Asia PacificWe are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard, valued for who they are and empowered to succeed.
