Success in this role is critical to our commitment to being a world-class Data & Analytics team and fostering Alteryx’s Data & Analytics journey!Position Details:Lead and motivate a remote team of experienced Data Engineers to build enterprise pipelines with repeatable, scalable, and resilient processes and designs that deliver the data critical to run our businessClosely partner with our Business Engagement Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Customers to identify, prioritize, scope, and deliver value-driven data solutionsRoadmap execution through backlog management and sprint planning in Jira to prioritize value-driven business outcomesProvide daily team support and enablement to ensure timely delivery and integrity of solutions that promote trust in our dataLead the growth and improvement of our highly scalable data management ecosystem to adapt and support the evolving needs of our business partnersUse your innate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and internal drive to continually grow, develop, and hone your craftBe fanatical about the data analytics space and help evangelize our work, team, and Alteryx as a whole!Need to Have: 3+ years managing a team of 3+ Data Engineers in an enterprise data management environmentStrong planning, organizational, and communication skills to remotely manage a team, projects, and business expectationsPractical application of data modeling techniques and enterprise ETL/ELT solution design to facilitate technical discussionsAbility to succinctly articulate complex data problems/solutions to various levels of business counterparts and senior leadershipStrong SQL experienceWillingness to learn and build working knowledge of our Alteryx toolsetBA/BS degree in Information Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical fieldHelpful to Have:Experience with Alteryx platformExperience with SnowflakeExperience with Jira and ConfluenceExperience with automated software testing and deploymentCompensation:Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. The salary range for this role in Southern California, Colorado, Washington, and Rhode Island is $136,600-$184,400.The salary range for this role in New York City and Northern California is $149,000-$201,100.In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus and stock grants.
