Reporting to the Sr. Director of IT Operations, this position will be responsible for management of the company’s global corporate infrastructure (both on premise and in the cloud). Come make your mark in a high energy environment at one of the most consistently highest rated “best places to work” in Austin over the past 10 years!Technological Responsibilities:Oversee operation and system administration of SailPoint’s global IT infrastructure environments including:Three global data centers with thousands of Windows and Linux VMs and over 0.5 PB of enterprise storage that support Engineering development and test environmentsDozens of AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud IaaS environments supporting business units across the companyGlobal corporate Microsoft Windows domain, Azure Active Directory and SSO, and Office365IT security infrastructure including NGFWs, IDS/IPS, OpenDNS, on-prem and cloud-based VPN, and email security systemsMultiple global LAN and WAN networksOffice networks located in Austin, Israel, India, and the UKWork closely with SailPoint’s Cybersecurity organization in support of IT security operations and administration of the company’s security systems and applicationsEnsure all systems are implemented and managed according to vendor and industry best-practicesMaintain proper patching of all systems in accordance with Cybersecurity risk requirementsMaintain IT compliance activities and governance controls in support of the company’s SOC2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and SOX certificationsWork closely with Engineering in support of SailPoint’s development and test environmentsStay abreast of key IT industry technologies, best practices, and strategiesHelp evaluate and implement new technology solutions, processes, and proceduresDevelop and maintain relationships with technology vendorsAssist in developing operational and capital expense budgets, including personnel budgetsLeadership Responsibilities:Manage and mentor a team of managers and IT system administration professionals to ensure the consistent delivery of strong results while embracing SailPoint’s highly successful cultureManage department projects, schedules, tasks, and initiatives according to set of dynamic prioritiesTrack progress and measure results across an organizationDevelop and maintain OKRs, KPIs, and other operational metricsMotivate and retain top IT talent, encourage professional development, and reward outstanding performanceMentor staff to help them grow in their skills and expertise across a wide array of technologiesDeliver all IT results with an emphasis on strong customer serviceRequirements:10+ years of progressively complex IT experience in enterprise environments5+ years of IT leadership experience with a proven ability to successfully build and grow technical organizations at the enterprise levelA bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experienceExtensive experience architecting, implementing, and managing complex global heterogeneous infrastructuresExpert-level knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Technologies including AD, Azure Active Directory, Windows Domains, and Office365Experience managing cloud IaaS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)Strong knowledge and understanding of a wide array of IT Security technologies including NGFW, IDS/IPS, VPNsSolid knowledge in Linux systems managementSolid knowledge of Cisco networkingKnowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM) and/or Identity Governance Administration (IGA) systemsSolid experience with IT operations processes including ITSM, Asset Inventory/CMDB, and Change ManagementExperience supporting high-demand engineering development and test environmentsExperience with compliance frameworks such as SOX, SOC2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMPDynamic leader with a proven track record of delivering consistent results in complex, high growth environmentsAbility to lead, motivate, and mentor a high performing technical teamStrong relationship skills - ability to build positive rapport across all levels of the organizationStrong project organization and prioritization skillsDemonstrated understanding how to measure team performance and track OKRs, KPIs, and other metricsAbility to foster a culture of helpfulness, strong customers service, and sense of urgencyAbility to sustain an equitable, inclusive, and diverse environmentExcellent time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and prioritize workExcellent oral and written communication skillsOccasional travel required to our other sites or industry/training events#LI-KJ1SailPoint is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome everyone to our team.
