Your tomorrow looks bright at Ubiquity.Your Role:We are seeking an experienced and versatile Software Solution Architect with a strong background in Python development, extensive expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), and a solid understanding of Information Security practices, particularly within a PCI DSS environment. As a Software Solution Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions across multiple platforms, including AWS and on-premises environments. Your broad experience and knowledge in both AWS and other technologies will enable you to lead architectural decisions and ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and agility.What it will doArchitectural Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance in designing and evolving our software architecture, ensuring it aligns with business goals, scalability requirements, and security best practices.Python and AWS Expertise: Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Python development and a wide range of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC and others, to create innovative and efficient solutions.Information Security: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance and other relevant information security standards. Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.Multi-Platform Experience: Design solutions that can seamlessly operate across various environments, including AWS and on-premises setups, ensuring consistency and reliability.Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance in all environments, identifying bottlenecks and implementing performance improvements, considering factors like load balancing and resource allocation.Scrum/Agile Collaboration: Work collaboratively with development teams; ensuring architectural alignment with sprint objectives and project timelines.Cloud-Native and Hybrid Solutions: Define architectural patterns for cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions, considering factors like data synchronization, disaster recovery, and redundancy.Documentation and Communication: Create clear and comprehensive architectural documentation, present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.Innovation and Research: Continuously research emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to drive innovation and enhance our technical capabilities.What do we need from you?Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven track record as a Software Architect with extensive experience in Python development and designing solutions on AWS.Solid understanding of Information Security principles, with specific experience in a PCI DSS environment is a plus.Broad experience across multiple platforms, including AWS, and on-premises setups.Knowledge of cloud-native architectural patterns, microservices, and serverless computing is a must.Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques and cloud scalability concepts is a must.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams is a must.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to balance technical excellence with business requirements and constraints.Relevant certifications in AWS, security, and architecture are desirable but not limited to AWS-specific certifications.Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.What we do.Recognized as the #1 CX provider for disruptors and innovators across financial services, healthcare, and e-commerce, Ubiquity was founded on the belief that our clients and their customers deserve better.
