We understand that your life is about more than just work, so we’re committed to a culture that supports your whole life.We are seeking a program manager for our enterprise-wide Business and IT Transformation Program.  As the program manager of the Enterprise PMO, your near-term responsibilities will be to proactively ensure this mission-critical and highly-complex program executes with alignment to its business outcomes, guiding principles, timelines, and quality.  This role is a key driver in identifying, tracking, and mitigating program risks.  This role will also probe, mentor, and guide each workstream to ensure transparency and accuracy in their progress. Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for planning and managing multiple simultaneous projects to meet Enterprise Resilience program deliveryDevelop and actively manage project plans, schedules, risks, budgets, and resources to deliver program objectivesLead and direct matrixed project teams to deliver projects on time, budget, and scopeProactively identify project risks, roadblocks, and strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goalsParticipate in and/or lead the development of key project deliverables (e.g., charter, project plan, issue logs, test plan, cutover plan, etc.)Ensure upstream and downstream impacts are identified, communicated, and aligned across all levels from team members to senior leadershipEstablish program rhythm of business – including communications, status reports, and readouts to stakeholders and leadershipServe as an escalation point on risks, issues, and decisions, course-correcting as neededCreate and monitor measures of success / KPIs for the program and projectsImprove processes and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve the entire project and service lifecycleKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProficiency in project management tools – Jira/Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, SharePoint, Confluence, or equivalent toolsExtensive experience in documenting and maintaining project plans, risk/issue logs, action item logs, and other project management related tools to help achieve project successAbility to handle ambiguity effectively and manage multiple projects at once in parallelExtremely strong written and verbal communication skills to drive projects across multiple programs, manage stakeholder expectations, and present project informationAbility to explain technical or complex issues and concerns in non-technical waysAbility to deliver results while working with remote, virtual, and cross-functional teams without direct authorityExceptional presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, and conflict management skillsExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracyCapability to manage multiple contexts and identify connections between themAbility to build strong, sustainable relationships with diverse internal and external partners at all levelsProficient understanding on financial models, accounting, metrics, value attribution, measurementQualifications5 years related experience with a minimum of 3 years in project management at technology-based companies or in technical domainsExperience in business strategy or business model transformations a plusExperience in large software application transformations or ERP implementations a plusFormer management consultant background plusBS/BA degree in a computer/business related field or equivalent industry experience.Demonstrated knowledge of software development (SDLC), agile and project lifecycles & methodologies, and other PM best practices; and know when to use them effectivelyProject Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent preferred.Our ValuesAt F5, we live and breathe our core values, Excellence, Integrity, Collaboration, Customer Dedication, Profitable Growth, Innovation, Employee Success, and Diversity.
