And it means we prioritize a diverse F5 community where each individual can thrive.Position SummaryThe director will orchestrate designing, creating, curating, and evaluating F5 technical training offerings.  Continuously develop both the personnel and processes to improve quality of work, productivity, and retention.Primary Responsibilities Design and deliver multilevel technical training programs for customers and internal staff.Plan roadmap of training development based on company strategic plans and objectives.Design training programs to be delivered in various applicable modalities i.e., In-person ITL, vILT, and web-based.Direct training organization operations Manage activities of the broader Training team through subordinate department managers.Responsible for the development of processes and evaluation criteria to ensure efficient operationsMakes final decisions on administrative and operational matters to ensure objectives are metEnsure budgets and schedules meet corporate needs.Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.Management Responsibility Employee management includes interviewing and hiring candidates for open positions,  onboarding, establishing goals, assigning or delegating work, providing on-the-job training, giving guidance to staff, conducting performance evaluations, approving paid time off (PTO), developing performance improvement plans, and taking disciplinary action.Performs other related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to analyze complex issues and take decisive actionCoordinate with and influence senior leaders in adjacent departmentsParticipate with other senior leaders to establish strategic training initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree or relevant experience.Requires a minimum of 10 years of management experience within Training organizationsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentDuties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require utilizing a computer, communicating over the telephone, and reading printed material.Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal hours (evenings and weekends).Duties require the ability to travel up to 80% via automobile and airplane and may require being on call periodically and working outside normal hours (evenings and weekends). Job may be performed on-site at a customer facility or data center or in an office environment sitting at a desk or computer table. The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
