Read on!What You’ll DoHandle customer generated issues based on issue severity and business needsAs a second tier of Engineering level support, act as the primary technical contact for assigned escalations and drive them to resolutionParticipates in a 24/7 on-call rotation to assist with technical escalationsProvide technical mentorship to lower level engineersConduct presentations and/or technical brown bag style training, internally and externallyYou can expect to spend about 70% of your time working on Urgent/Non-Urgent escalations (customer issues), and 30% on other DevOps projects as neededWhat You’ll BringRequires 3+ years of related DevOps experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience with at least one software configuration management system (Puppet, Ansible, Nomad, Terraform)Experience with VMWare, KVM and/or Docker. Setting up, configuring, documenting, and maintaining virtual machine environmentsStrong scripting skills in at least two disciplines (Python, Perl, Bash, Ansible, Golang, etc..).
