We are seeking an experienced Manager of Core Data and Data Quality who will play a vital role in advancing our Global Core Data Management (CDM) and Data Quality (DQ) initiatives. In this position, you will work closely with leaders across Business, Data, Technology, and Analytics teams, as well as Systems and Solution owners, to shape data strategies, roadmaps, and policies that align with our organizational objectives, maximizing value in support of our customer experience.Your responsibilities will encompass identifying and devising strategies for effectively integrating Core data with other operational systems and processes, optimizing the utilization of Core data. Additionally, you will take the lead guiding a global, hybrid team of program managers and analysts, steering them towards achieving a multi-year strategic roadmap for CDM and DQ endeavors. This will entail building compelling business cases and advocating for the necessary resources, including people, processes, and tools, within both the Core Data team and the system owner teams.The ideal candidate for this role is someone who exudes strong leadership qualities, possesses a business-focused perspective, and boasts a diverse background encompassing various data and functional disciplines. This individual should excel in problem-solving, exhibit exceptional personnel management skills, demonstrate the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally at all organizational levels, including executive leadership, and utilize their experience and sound judgment to deliver solutions that offer exceptional business value.Primary responsibilities: Develop the vision and maintain a compelling value proposition, strategy, and roadmap for robust CDM and DQ programs.Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to formulate and drive the CDM strategy across the organization.Improve and optimize CDM practices and processes to deliver the Core domains of Customer, Partner, Individual, Employee, and Product Develop, coordinate and maintain integrated CDM-related project timelines, schedules and stakeholder engagement plans Partner with Tech Services in the design and development of integration solutions that leverage CDM, including both operational and analytic use cases Strive for the continuous improvement of procedures, tools, and metrics tied to business outcomes for the CDM team Collaborate with Data Governance, and Metadata Management programs to ensure accuracy of Core data, appropriateness for intended uses and continuous improvement of Data Quality Support key company programs related to CDM, data alignment, data migration and data quality, inclusive of systems integrations, technology migrations and M&A Integration activities.Evaluate and review new approaches and technologies and their applicability to CDM Manage and develop an international team from multiple time zones. Guide the team on CDM-specific activities such as defining cleanse rules, match rules, survivorship, etc. Ensure teamwork across Data Owners, Data Stewards, business SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) and Tech Services partners Provide partnership and influence through organizational change management efforts Knowledge, skills and abilities to be successful: Knowledge of data disciplines and principles, methodologies, and tools with and ability to adapt them to drive business valueStrong technology background and applicable technology skills related to data, Core data management, data governance and associated platforms and technologies Has a broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards.
