This position will bring specialized skills and experience to resolve complex supply chain issues in creative and effective ways for assigned projects. They will have the opportunity to lead complex projects, apply their unique knowledge and influence across functions.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness partnership between strategic sourcing and product development for new product launch projects within instrumentations.Drive project deliverables by collaborating with cross functional teams and influencing stakeholders.Navigate through ambiguity to define and focus on priorities to deliver business objectives.Negotiates agreements (i.e., development agreement, statements of work, licensing agreement) achieving favorable terms that mitigate business risks and protect Illumina’s IP while maintaining cost competitiveness.Strengthen strategic supplier relationships to reduce business risk and support supplier escalations.Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to develop capabilities, continuity, and capacity.Support the execution of continuous improvement initiatives within Global Supply Chain.Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
