Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.Position Summary:The role of Sr. Marketing Programs Manager is responsible for advancing the use of next-generation sequencing (NGS) in specific markets that Illumina serves.  The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of some professional and/or educational experience in next generation sequencing as well as experience in multi-channel and integrated marketing communications development and execution. Clinical or diagnostics experience is also highly desired. Candidates should have demonstrated experience working cross-functionally in a large matrixed organization. This role will be responsible for planning, development, and execution of all regional marketing programs as it relates to sequencing platforms and software solutions in a given market.Responsibilities:Brainstorm, develop and execute meaningful and measurable regional multi-channel marketing plans in conjunction with global and regional segment marketing to drive pipeline acceleration and impact near-term revenueInterpret market data and input from the field marketing team to effectively leverage into marketing programs/action plansManage the concurrent execution of a variety of marketing tactics within a given program, and ensure linkage of tactics to overall segment strategyEffectively identify and use various marketing channels to achieve the desired response within a market segmentReport and monitor campaign performance (KPI’s) and implement improvements in order to optimize campaign return on investment (ROI), and improve business impactMaintain and oversee regional campaign budget for respective areas of the business; this includes ensuring 95-100% of quarterly allocation is spent on Marketing Programs to drive near and long-term revenue goalsParticipate in quarterly and annual planning and review cyclesSome domestic travel will be requiredRequirements:Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in marketing, marketing communications, and/or product marketing Proven track record and experience in leading campaign development and execution Sales experience, clinical or research experience in a life science discipline, genomics experience, or hands-on sequencing experience, also highly desirableMinimum of a bachelor's degree in a life science discipline preferredMBA or other related degree in business, marketing, communications also highly desirableThe estimated base salary range for the Sr. Marketing Programs Manager - Regional Marketing role based in the United States of America is: $94,600 - $141,800. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
