This role is based in our Cambridge site in The Unite Kingdom, where you will be a vital part of our Facilities team. Why YouTo be successful as a Sr Facilities Planner, you will have considerable experience in a similar role, ideally with a strong background in Facilities Management. Experience working in a life science or logistic company would be an advantage. Essentially, you will provide knowledge and leadership across projects and activities on a regional basis, whilst collaborating with the wider Team globally.The RoleThe Sr Facilities Planner will be part of the EMEA Facilities Team who will provide day to day handling of equipment calibration work order processing & maintenance, provide technical expertise, service, and support to EMEA region by assuring equipment calibration compliance meets the regional standards in a fast pace regulated environment. Responsibilities would include owning handling of standard operating procedures, calibration & maintenance work instructions, onboarding & decommissioning procedures, tasks, and challenges, with minimal supervision. Also working alongside with the EMEA Facilities Engineering Team to support the continuously improving Planned and Corrective Maintenance procedures with internal and external Supply Chain. This individual will work in a dynamic team-oriented environment that supports multiple operations and technologies helping lllumina deliver its highly complex product pipeline in a reliable and sustainable manner.Responsibilities:Execute calibration work orders in SAP EAM database.Provide day to day support related to equipment onboarding & decommissioning as well as related equipment lifecycle process improvement initiatives.Independently plan, coordinate, and execute multiple parallel activities like, supplier interactions, support on project activities with minimal guidance to ensure work is completed on-time.Drive continuous improvement and cost saving projects to deliver on our vision of becoming world class equipment lifecycle program.Monitor equipment technical performance and handle equipment inventory with minimal oversight.Coordinate with vendors to get calibration & maintenance repair activities completed on time.Support Team with other activities in SAP EAM DatabaseAssist in developing & improving Key Performance Indicators (Overdue calibrations, Schedule adherence, out of tolerance etc.).Provide calibration support during external & internal audits and inspections.Maintain, update, and improve current contractual records.Provide day to day support related to equipment lifecycle.Preferred Requirements:Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes in priority, and redirect efforts as necessary.Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional departments are a must.Ability to use Microsoft Office and Windows.Understanding of calibration and Maintenance databases (SAP would be a plus)Advanced data collection, hands-on skills and able to summarize results.Excellent analytical, verbal, and written documentation skills.Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) would be a plus.Work experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices industries would be an advantage.Preferred Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred.Knowledge of ISO 13485 & ISO 17025 standards are a plus.Typically requires some related experience.Extensive experience of equipment lifecycle in a regulated environment, specifically related to calibration and maintenance.What can you expect?Our team members are bright, energetic, and dedicated - they are the driving force behind our innovation and impact.
