We believe 3D is the next wave of the digital transformation for individuals and for enterprise help us accelerate creativity in this this role is to play a key role in the future.What you’ll doAs a design member on our team, you will be an integral part of designing and improving existing Adobe Substance products helping our team expand beyond the traditional set of Adobe tools. You will partner with product teams and influence product developing; defining the right problems to solve, provide design and interaction explorations. We have an outstanding team of designers, product managers and engineers with deep knowledge of 3D eager to work with you to deliver meaningful experiences.In this role, you will:Partner closely with product management, engineering, and user research to deliver high-impact, innovative features for our end-users.Create end-to-end user flows, design artifacts and prototypes to help influence and steer product development.Communicate clear strategy and vision in a relatable, inspirational, and simple way to understand.Collaborate across our other product and their designers to find opportunities for optimized end-to-end experiences across platforms and devices.Communicate and align with engineers to understand the feasibility of your designs, eventually finding smart alternatives along the way.Explore design ideas via sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes. Use feedback and research to refine and iterate towards product objectives. Pair strong communication skills with a user-centered perspective to influence and persuade.Dig in with prototypers, engineers and researchers to understand the capabilities of new and developing technologies to match user needs.What you need to succeedMust-haves:Proven experience and/or training in design or a related fieldKnowledge of the 3D industry practices around Media & Entertainment or CAD/CAM product development. Familiarity with tools such as Blender, Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity, or other similar software is a plus.A history of leading design for and launching complex, yet intuitive productsCollege degree or equivalent practical experience in design with an emphasis on graphic design, HCI, or related design field 5+ yrs.Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and other design tools such as Figma or Sketch.Experience working iteratively with engineering teams to bring the vision to lifeVery strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and storytelling skills.Ability to contribute to the creative spirit of the Adobe Design team.Excellent design craft and the ability to blend that with strong intuition for business.A real passion for collaborating across many subject areas.Nice-to-haves:Prior experience crafting design strategy for the 3D tooling space, platform experiences, and/or systemsDeep knowledge around and passion for accessible and inclusive designFamiliarity with Adobe Substance 3D ecosystem is a bonus.How to applyMust have an online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant examples to be considered for this position.
