This role requires experience crafting modern web experiences and developing intuitive interfaces for large libraries of content. This manager will work closely alongside the design director, designers, and product teams to develop ideas from concept through implementation. We’re looking for a natural leader who can inspire, organize, and nurture a team. The ideal candidate should have a strong design background, a passion for great user experience, a desire to drive innovation and iteration, and a proven track record to lead and manage teams.In this role, you will:Partner with Product and Engineering to define the key objectives and identify the most impactful features to buildUnderstand and help the teams understand analytical quantitative and user research qualitative data that impact experiences and user choicesLead and strengthen a team of world-class designers to craft compelling experiences for webBuild a successful, collaborative environment that encourages deep partnership with cross-functional teams and sets a high bar for design craftOwn the design execution across monthly and quarterly product releases while ensuring that we ship at the highest design qualityShape the vision of how users engage on our experiences by facilitating design sprints and articulating the design strategy to all team membersRepresent the team and work to senior leadership at AdobeChampion customer-centricity, accessibility and inclusion, and good design choices across functionsWhat you’ll need to succeed:College degreeExtensive experience designing for modern and content-rich web experiences, communication design, and systems designExperience with and passion for building products and experiences that help people learn and increase their creativity and productivityA strong grasp of what’s ‘under the hood’ including the back-end systems and backstage processes that enable high-velocity content publishing at scale5+ years of management and leadership experienceA deep understanding of creative collaboration and a dedication to building strong team culture and growing designersExperience working in large teams with many moving partsExperience helping your team conduct research, present results, and develop plans to act on those resultsAwareness of how visual design languages and UI frameworks affect the design processA consistent track record of launching products that delight, innovate and scaleStrong interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsHow to applyTo be considered for this role you must submit a resume and be prepared to present examples of your successful leadership, team development, process improvements and organizational skills.About Adobe DesignAdobe Design creates tools that amplify the world’s ability to create and communicate. The U.S. pay range for this position is $135,200 -- $262,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
