We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours! The OpportunityThis role is part of Adobe’s Global Marketing Organization (GMO), specifically within the Growth Marketing and Insights organization (GMI). We are seeking a curious, strategic, and analytical professional to build out GMI’s new brand measurement function. A successful candidate should understand the value of a brand and have experience effectively demonstrating its impact on the business. Adobe has a diverse brand portfolio, and our customers range from individuals to small businesses to the largest enterprises. We are looking for your expertise to guide the organization on the importance of building a brand that cultivates a strong sense of affiliation and identity among people. As a Sr. Brand Scientist, you will provide empirical evidence of how our brand drives the business. More specifically, you will be responsible for the mathematical articulation of the brand impact, using brand research and customer outcomes as inputs. You will play a crucial role in helping the business understand how a strong brand leads to increased preference, drives growth, and reduces volatility. You will partner with GMO’s brand research and strategy teams, as well as the business, to craft Adobe’s brand strategy and make informed decisions that enhance brand equity.What you'll doDevelop a methodology to evaluate brand value on the Adobe businesses.Evaluate the impact of the Adobe brand, and product brand on marketing and sales efficiency.Establish a comprehensive system of data streams, pipelines, and surveys to gain insights on our brands.Design tests and turn data into straightforward views that demonstrate the impact of our brand on various business metrics and marketing effectiveness.Optimize the views that are valuable and effectively conveying a compelling narrative, ensuring clear takeaways.Build a practice area with expertise in brand measurement and influence Adobe’s brand and marketing strategies.Drive clarity on how we think about our product brands and how that influences customer preference.Present a compelling case for the importance of our brand and provide guidance to the organization on effective ways to enhance brand equity.Guide brand research team on conducting research that aligns with our objectives.Track and understand changes in brand equity, which will inform recommendations for Adobe’s brand strategy and GTM strategy.What you need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have a unique skillset of data analysis, statistical modeling, and familiar with survey design and research methods.Advanced degree in Statistics, Business, or Marketing Science.Proven experience collaborating with Brand or Category managers to evaluate long-term impact of brands.Excellent communication, relationship skills, and a standout colleague.Passion and energy for collaborative work, influencing partners and decision making at all levels of the organization.Comfort with co-creation processes and a belief in the power of strong partnerships.Strong analytics capabilities and understanding of market research, with a vision for connecting research findings to business metrics.Proficiency in programming in R or Python.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $140,200 -- $261,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
