We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours! As a Technical Writer for our Creative Cloud developer platform, your main goal is ensuring that our technical content meets our high standards of quality, accuracy, and approachability, and that it reflects our company's voice, tone and values.You will own our documentation strategy, starting with the information architecture and extending to identifying the most crucial content. You will define documentation standards, process improvements and champion adoption. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring documentation is comprehensive and strategically aligned to meet the diverse needs of our developer community.One of your primary responsibilities will be the creation, editing, and review of a wide range of technical content. This includes but is not limited to API References, onboarding materials like Quick Starts, as well as Tutorials and Guides. You'll also be responsible for crafting Code Samples and Project Templates. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams and ensure that our documentation is optimized for search and discoverability, making it easy for our customers to find the information they need.You will be responsible for the documentation release process and content update, ensuring that all changes are made in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, you will handle pull requests from the community, keeping our documentation up-to-date and accurate.You will also have the opportunity to identify and operationalize documentation optimization areas using new technologies such as AI to help you scale. If you are passionate about technology, have a keen eye for detail, and are committed to producing high-quality documentation, then we want to hear from you.RequirementsLove for writing and proofreading technical content with high attention to details and resolve to produce high-quality workProficient in both spoken and written EnglishExperience at detailing APIs and Web technologies, showing familiarity with modern content guidelines, documentation release processes and management toolsExperience with HTML/CSS/Markdown language and git repositoriesBasic understanding of JavaScript and Web concepts, and able to test small snippets of codeAbility to thrive in a fast-paced setting with teams from different areas, flexible to work with multiple time zones such as US and EuropeStrong curiosity about working with new technologies and software toolsBonusFamiliarity with SEO techniques to optimize documentation for search and discoverabilityExperience with modern Web programming frameworks such as React, with the ability to build code samples and more sophisticated guidesFamiliarity with UX writing and design principlesAdobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
