We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee sprint planning, retrospective and daily scrum meetings.Work closely with product, sales, and implementations on project scope and scheduling.Instill best practices for software development, assure technical designs meet requirements, and deliver high quality work on time.Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to.Act as a technical resource to customers, prospects, and internal teams.Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements.Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.Develop and interpret team goals, processes, and procedures.Direct daily operations of department by analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.Determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect operations.Work with leaders and peers to collaborate on assigned strategic or technical initiatives, resolve problems, and drive efficiency.Control operational budget and expenditures.Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.Implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.Provide direct supervision to professional and technical individual contributors of similar or different skillsets.EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent relevant work experience.Typically requires 2-5 years managing and developing employees. Advanced knowledge in software development life-cycles and software development processes.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a fast paced environment.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong leadership and mentoring skills.Ability to have technical discussions with other teams’ senior technical contacts and upper management.Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain patient with non-technical customers.Knowledge and experience in the banking industry preferred.Experience integrating applications with core banking platforms desired.#LI-DP1#LI-OnsiteHealth & WellnessHybrid & Remote Work Opportunities                                                                  Flexible Time OffCareer Development & Mentoring ProgramsGenerous Retirement Benefit Plans, including a company-matching HSA program.Health & Wellness Benefits, including a 12-weeks of parental leave for eligible new parentsCommunity Volunteering & Company Philanthropy ProgramsEmployee Peer Recognition Programs – “You Earned it”How We Give Back to the Community:You can learn more about our Q2 Spark Program, Q2 Philanthropy fund, and our employee volunteering programs on our Q2 Community page.
