We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.JOB DESCRIPTIONQ2 is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst that will be involved in a broad range of payroll processing areas providing service to the Q2 Payroll department in the United States from India for its operations globally. The payroll department at Q2 offers a hard-to-find dynamic work environment that welcomes innovative ideas, rewards hard work and commitment, exposes its members to growth opportunities, and encourages evolution of individuals, methodologies, processes, and systems. This position will report to the Director, Accounting.RESPONSIBILITIES: Payroll Processing:Process end to end payroll and maintaining of employee database regarding salary and pay.Perform full spectrum of payroll process to ensure accurate, timely and compliant payroll delivery for the assigned countries.Staying abreast of laws and regulations and executing processes that comply with regulations while ensuring alignment with Global payroll standards.Process Employee Onboardings including documentation and induction sessions.Preparing and posting Payroll related entries in Accounting ERP.Performing reconciliation tasks with Accounting ERP & Payroll Records.Processing full and final settlement and handling the employee exits.Co-ordinate with internal departments for the payroll inputs and submission of payroll inputs to payroll processing company.Co-ordinate with payroll processing company and review and validate payroll outputs provided by them.Co-ordinate with payroll processing company for final payroll documents including statutory registers and process payroll payouts and related statutory payments.Handling tax benefits related tasks including processing of monthly employer NPS contribution payments, co-ordination with NPS banker.Handling employee tax declarations, proof collection and related requirements.Analysing and resolving inquiries from employees which are related to payroll like tax queries, flexi benefits, pay calculations, etc.Maintaining payroll and internal control procedures.Globally collaborating closely with HR, Benefits, Stock team, IT and other teams for payroll relevant tasks.Contingent Labor TasksCo-ordinate with managed service provider company when needed to resolve inquiries from vendors or contingent workers.Co-ordinate with internal departments as needed to provide reports from the vendor management system.Maintain any internal control procedures as required by audit.Any other miscellaneous tasks associated with the contingent labor program as needed.Statutory Reporting and Compliance:Ensure accurate and timely statutory filings according to the respective country’s regulations or legislation and data reporting in government platforms.Keep oneself updated on the changes in statutory requirements and ensure that payroll is complied with the statutory changes.Preparing Provident Fund JE and verification of PF registers and related documents.Handling PF related tasks like transfers, employee record changes, etc.Handling and processing of PT payments and verification of PF challans, returns, etc.Handling annual payroll related statutory registration, renewals including labour law, shops and establishment and related compliances.Handling payroll with-holdings taxes and related tasks including filings, issuing of annual wage and tax statements and related requirements.Tax reporting for equity gains relating to employee stock option plans.General Activities:Monthly updating of account schedules, reconciliations and other close requirements like accruals, and allocations.Handling and Co-ordinating with auditors for the audit requirements and with consultants for payroll related assessment requirements.Recommendations to improve and automate payroll processes and ensure to align with global processes.Key Skills/Abilities:Minimum 5-8 years of experience in an IT/ITES Company with exposure to Global Operations.Should be strong in MS Office and exposure to global payroll tools.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.Highly organized and flexible.Ability to multitask, transition to new roles and meet changing deadlines.Maintains high confidentiality.Health & WellnessHybrid & Remote Work Opportunities                                                                  Flexible Time OffCareer Development & Mentoring ProgramsGenerous Retirement Benefit Plans, including a company-matching HSA program.Health & Wellness Benefits, including a 12-weeks of parental leave for eligible new parentsCommunity Volunteering & Company Philanthropy ProgramsEmployee Peer Recognition Programs – “You Earned it”How We Give Back to the Community:You can learn more about our Q2 Spark Program, Q2 Philanthropy fund, and our employee volunteering programs on our Q2 Community page.
