NVIDIA Toronto AI Lab is looking for exceptional researchers and research engineers to join our 3D reconstruction and simulation team. Our team is passionate about pushing the boundaries of research, while focusing on real-world problems and making an impact on the NVIDIA products. We are particularly interested in advancing the methods for reconstructing simulation environments from captured sensor data, with application in Autonomous Driving, Robotics, and more. You will work closely with a group of high-skilled and motivated researchers that consistently publishes at the top venues in computer vision and machine learning. Our existing expertise includes 3D computer vision, reconstruction, generative AI and so forth.What you will be doing:Research, design, and implement novel, large-scale 3D reconstruction and simulation methodsImplement and adapt existing methods from other sub-fields to the selected downstream tasks. Benchmark and evaluate the promise of research ideas to guide the development process.After building prototypes that demonstrate the promise of the research ideas, you will collaborate with product teams to transfer these ideas into industry-leading real-world applications.What we need to see:Must be pursuing or hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, etc., or relevant research experience.Excellent knowledge of the theory and practice of 3D computer vision, with the focus on 3D reconstruction and implicit neural representations.Excellent programming skills in rapid prototyping environments such as Python, with experience using common deep learning frameworks such as pytorch.C++ and CUDA programming skills are desired.Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:Experience with working on a product related research project is a plus.Outstanding research track record.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
