This Solutions Architect role requires becoming a trusted technical advisor and leader to our customers who believe that accelerated computing and artificial intelligence is a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform the entire manufacturing process. A Solutions Architect is the first line of technical expertise between NVIDIA and our partners and customers. Your duties will vary from inventing proof-of-concept demonstrations, to driving the relationships with key executives and managers to promote accelerated computing. Dynamically engaging with developers, scientific researchers, data scientists, IT managers and leaders is a meaningful part of the Solutions Architect role and will give you experience with a range of partners and concerns.What you’ll be doing:Partner with our business / account team working with customers to develop a keen understanding of their goals, strategies, and technical needs as well as to help define and deliver high-value solutions meeting these needs.Work with customers to design NVIDIA solutions into their next generation manufacturing process.Stay up on the state of the art in manufacturing to apply the latest advancements in the field to customer needs.Document what you know and teach others. This can vary from building targeted training for partners and other Solutions Architects, to writing whitepapers, blogs, and wiki articles, to simply working through hard problems with a customer on a whiteboard.We make heavy use of conferencing tools, but some travel is required for this role. You are empowered to find the best way to get your job done and make our customers successful.What we need to see:MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field.5+ years of semiconductor, electronics, automotive, or other manufacturing industry experience.Knowledge of various industrial processes, workflows, key performance indicators and protocols.Extensive experience in Deep Learning, Machine Learning and Computer Vision for the manufacturing process.Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment, expert analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects.Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.Ways to stand out from the crowd: Experience for NVIDIA GPU systemsLarge scale systems management experienceExperience with NVIDIA AI and Data Science software and platformNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
