Senior Interconnect Hardware Engineer

NVIDIA is looking to hire a Senior Development Engineer for the Interconnect Design team in Roskilde, Denmark for the development of high-speed interconnects that will link-up the datacenters of tomorrow. The successful candidate will work on optical transceiver development, and take ownership of full transceiver designs, including technical management of development projects with multiple stakeholders from across the organization.What you’ll be doing:Optical transceiver design: Interact with experts in system architecture, system design, firmware, optics, mechanics, thermal, etcManage technical aspects of development projects from concept to mass production.Bring-up of prototypes in the laboratoryConduct detailed characterizations of transceivers against relevant standards.Debug designs and optimize performance in both laboratory and system environmentsWhat we need to see:M.Sc. Degree or equivalent experience in electrical and/or electro-optical engineering. Ph.D is a plus3+ years of hands-on experience with high-speed optical systemsExperience with electro-optical componentsKnowledge of classical opticsBasic knowledge of electronicsBasic background of RF electronicsStrong product mindset: Ability to own and drive transceiver development projectGood English skills, oral and writingCommand of at least one programming languageWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience with packaging of electronic and/or electro-optical componentsBackground with thermal managementExperience with PCB designKnowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and interference (EMI)​With competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
