You know how the attention mechanism in transformers works and at the same time can juggle around inodes and regexes, you have crafted your own custom neural network layers but also know how a docker image is composed of file system layers? We are looking for highly motivated intern candidates, passionate about the latest AI technologies revolutionizing computer vision, language models and computer graphics. We belong to an international team - distributed across Finland, Germany, Switzerland and the USA - whose engineers and scientists pioneered the <u>DLSS</u> and <u>Megatron</u> projects at NVIDIA. Come to work with us on shaping next generation real-time graphics through innovative uses of deep learning or to push the boundaries of large multi-modal language models (LLMs) with a focus on computer vision. Join us to invent the future of our company!What you will be doing:Conceive Deep Learning approaches to solving concrete product-related problems. We are building the future of computer graphics, autonomous driving, generative multi-modal AI and many other applications. The specific topic will be decided factoring your own interests and our business needsWork with large task-specific datasets. Those can be based on real or synthetic images and videos, and include multiple modalitiesCollaborate globally with other team members as well as researchers and developers from different departments at NVIDIAWhat we need to see:You are pursuing MSc. or PhD student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering or related field, with courses followed in the area of machine learning, Deep Learning, probability theory or statistical signal processing, algorithms and scored as a top performerA strong interest in AI and experience with one or ideally both:Deep learning research or applied research in computer vision, and you are aware of the latest academic developments in the fieldComputer graphics and real-time rendering, e.g. engine development, ray tracing/path tracing and image reconstructionHands-on coding skills with PyTorch, Python, C/C++ and Linux bash scripting expertiseAn outstanding teammate, proficient in English with excellent social skillsWays to stand out from the crowd:An academic track record and publicationsExposure to natural language processing (NLP) and LLMs in addition to being skilled in computer vision/graphicsKnowledge of CUDA programmingAny AI-related projects which you can present to usNVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
