This production engineering role is for an expert in embedded systems that will provide leadership to our customers who believe that deep learning, data science, networking, and artificial intelligence are a new computing revolution and have the potential to transform the industry.NVIDIA is searching for an extraordinary Production Engineer focused on Networking and embedded systems. Your primary responsibilities will be customer technical engagement for NVIDIA Networking products for systems deployed in the cloud and data centers. You will be working cross-functionally with multiple internal organizations as well as ensuring a positive experience for external customers. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and have experience working with embedded systems. You will use your people skills and your technical knowledge to provide design-in support for our embedded networking products in customer systems. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently are essential. Experience with networking, DPDK, or DOCA is a plus, as well as the ability to pick up new technologies and skills.What you'll be doing:Be a technical expert on embedded networking products, mainly BlueField and ConnectX product lines, directly supporting sales account and program managers, working closely with the team to secure design winsActively establish the technical relationship with our customer’s engineers, management, and architects at focus accountsIdentify customer architectures and key product requirements in the networking fieldProvide onsite support to tackle problems in hardware, software, and Bluefield full-stackOwn the support of the product through the design-in phase all the way through the product's lifecycleCreate technical solutions such as demos and example system designsProvide technical and sales training to direct sales team and channel partnersEstablish strong relationships and communication channels with the internal DevTech teamWhat we need to see:BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience5+ years of work-related experience in an embedded role or technical customer support roleCapable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus on customer successAbility to multitask effectively in a dynamic environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into sophisticated projectsClear written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with executives and engineering teamsWays to stand out from the crowd:Knowledge of network protocolsEmbedded, Networking, DPDK, or DOCA development experienceExperience with in-depth problem-solvingC/C++ and Python programming skillsEmbedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledgeExperience working with CSPsAdvanced degreesWith competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, we are widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
